An alliance that keeps growing stronger
Renewing this agreement is excellent news for English For Us and an important step in developing our international partnerships. The agreement will let us keep running joint activities and continue counting on students from PennWest University's Speech-Language Pathology master's programme as teachers in our English classes.
Future professionals in our classrooms
Their involvement in the classroom brings an especially valuable dimension to the project. Future speech and communication professionals get the chance to apply their knowledge in a real, international and inclusive educational context, while our students benefit from new kinds of support, different accents and genuine opportunities to communicate in English.
Through this collaboration, students on both sides of the Atlantic learn from one another, share experiences and discover that education can become a meeting point capable of crossing borders.
A partnership that keeps expanding
This new stage also expands the scope of the agreement. The collaboration can now extend to all seven campuses of the system, as well as to PennWest University's new online master's programme, which enrols students from different states across the United States. This expansion opens up new possibilities for involving more participants, developing joint initiatives and strengthening the academic and human exchange that defines our relationship with the university.
Renewing the agreement confirms the value of a partnership built on shared goals: training future professionals, inclusion, hands-on learning and creating educational opportunities with a real impact.
A special thank you
We want to give special thanks to Dr. Mary Pat McCarthy, whose support, commitment and generosity have been essential to building and sustaining this collaboration over the years. Her trust in English For Us and her ability to bring people, institutions and ideas together have allowed this alliance to keep growing and opening new paths.
We celebrate this renewal with great enthusiasm and with a wish to keep developing projects that connect our students, teachers and educational communities: a partnership that renews itself, expands and keeps growing on both sides of the Atlantic.
