Our first adventure with our own technology

A very special step

Today we're taking a very special step in the English For Us journey. After months of ideas, testing, conversations and learning, we're presenting our first technological tool developed specifically to support our students.

It's an English-speaking conversational agent that lets them practise simple situations, answer questions, repeat expressions and take part in short dialogues adapted to their level.

Practising without rushing and without fear of mistakes

This first version comes from a need we know very well: learning to communicate in another language takes more than studying vocabulary or structures; it requires real opportunities to practise. And to do so, on top of that, in a calm environment, without rushing and without fear of getting it wrong.

The agent lets students repeat a conversation as many times as needed, move forward step by step and try out new responses. Each student can use it at their own pace, reinforcing what they've learned in class and gradually gaining autonomy and confidence.

A complementary tool, still in beta

Technology doesn't replace teachers or the value of human support. Our teachers will keep guiding, observing and supporting every student's progress. The agent joins as a complementary tool that expands learning opportunities and opens new ways of practising English.

This is our first adventure with our own technology, but it won't be the last. The version we're presenting is still in its beta phase. We'll keep testing it, listening to students, families and teachers, and rolling out improvements based on their experience.

A first step we haven't taken alone

We want to thank EDIH Madrid Region 2.0 and, especially, Sandra Busturia, for supporting us through this process, helping us better understand the possibilities of artificial intelligence, and guiding our first steps in building our own technology roadmap.

Our thanks also go to Jaime Marco and the Kuuli Tech team, for helping us turn an idea into a real tool. Thank you for teaching us, listening to us and supporting us throughout the design and development of this first version of the conversational agent.

Shall we start talking?

Now we want to invite you to be part of this new stage. We encourage you to try the conversational agent, talk with it and share your experience with us. Your feedback will help us keep improving it and building the next tools at English For Us.

Because innovating also means listening, learning together and moving forward without losing sight of people. Shall we start talking?
